Urdu birthday greetings, for every kind of relationship

A birthday message in Urdu changes shade depending on who it's for. For a close friend it's short and playful — "سالگرہ مبارک ہو!" with an exclamation, sent the moment the clock turns. For a parent or elder it usually runs longer, adding a dua for health and long life rather than just marking the day. For a wider family group, a warmer, more general line works best, since it may be read by cousins, in-laws and grandparents at once.

The designs above follow that same split: bright, modern tones for a friend's WhatsApp Status; a softer sunrise palette for a message that leans more sincere; and a warm interior scene for a card meant to read as coming from the whole family rather than one person. None of them lean on cake or balloon clip-art — the same understated-but-warm design language used across this site, just tuned toward celebration instead of festival or formality.

Both "سالگرہ مبارک" (Salgirah Mubarak) and "جنم دن مبارک" (Janam Din Mubarak) are common — the first slightly more everyday, the second a touch more formal. Add the name and, if you like, the age before downloading; a message that says "بلال کو سالگرہ مبارک" reads far warmer than a generic line and takes the same few seconds to type.

Questions

Is this birthday card maker free?

Yes. No account is required. Pick a design, edit the Urdu text, and download the PNG for free.

Can I add the person's name or age?

Yes. Every card opens with a starter Urdu greeting already on it — clear it or edit it in place to add a name, an age, or a personal line.

Should I say "Salgirah Mubarak" or "Janam Din Mubarak"?

Both are used and understood everywhere. "Salgirah Mubarak" is the more common everyday phrase; "Janam Din Mubarak" is a little more formal or literary. Either works — edit the text on any card to switch between them.

Can I send the card straight to WhatsApp Status?

Download the PNG, then share it from your phone's gallery to WhatsApp Status, Instagram Stories, or any messaging app.

Are these designs original?

Yes. Every background here is an original UrduSaaz design, built with enough contrast and safe margin for Urdu Nastaliq text to stay readable.
