Eid-ul-Adha, and how it differs from Eid-ul-Fitr on a card

Eid-ul-Adha — Bakra Eid, or "قربانی والی عید" in everyday Urdu — runs on a different rhythm than Eid-ul-Fitr. It opens with the Eid prayer, followed by qurbani (the sacrifice), and the meat is traditionally split three ways: for the household, for relatives and neighbours, and for those who can't afford meat themselves. The greetings that go out that morning tend to mention the qurbani directly, or ask that Allah accept the hujjaj's (pilgrims') Hajj that same week, rather than the "meethi Eid" and dessert-focused language that suits Eid-ul-Fitr's Chand Raat.

The designs above keep the gold-and-green palette familiar from this site's other Eid page, since both mornings share that visual language, but the text is written specifically for Adha: "قربانی قبول فرمائے" (accept the sacrifice) and "حج قبول فرمائے" (accept the Hajj) don't belong on an Eid-ul-Fitr card, and Eid-ul-Fitr's Chand Raat and sheer khurma lines don't belong here either.

Eid-ul-Adha runs three days in most countries, so a card sent on day two or three still lands well — it doesn't have to be the first morning. If you're sending to someone specific, add their name before downloading; "چچا، عید مبارک" reads warmer than a generic line and takes the same few seconds to type.

Questions

Is this Eid-ul-Adha card maker free?

Yes. No account is required. Pick a design, edit the Urdu text, and download the PNG for free.

What's the difference between this page and the Eid Mubarak cards page?

The other Eid page is built for Eid-ul-Fitr — Chand Raat, the end of Ramadan, "meethi Eid" and sheer khurma. This page is built for Eid-ul-Adha specifically: qurbani, the days of Hajj, and greetings that mention sacrifice and pilgrims rather than the fast breaking.

Can I write my own message instead of the ready greeting?

Yes. Every card opens with a starter Urdu greeting already on it, but the text box is fully editable — clear it and type your own message, or add a name.

Can I send the card straight to WhatsApp Status?

Download the PNG, then share it from your phone's gallery to WhatsApp Status, Instagram Stories, or any messaging app.

Are these designs original?

Yes. Every background here is an original UrduSaaz design, not a repurposed stock template, and each one is built with enough contrast and safe margin for Urdu Nastaliq text to stay readable.
